Brake, transmission, exhaust and glass work is often done by specialty shops that see the same job dozens of times a week. Brake shops replace pads and rotors the same day and usually inspect for free; transmission shops rebuild or replace automatics and clutches, a multi-day job that deserves a second quote; muffler and exhaust shops weld custom pipes and replace catalytic converters, which in many states must meet emissions rules. Alignment and suspension shops fix pulling, uneven tire wear and worn shocks, and radiator shops handle overheating and cooling-system leaks. Auto glass shops replace windshields, often at your home or office, and recalibrate the driver-assistance cameras mounted behind the glass. Window tinting and car audio shops round out the group.

Port Chester is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Port Chester follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We trusted this company with one of our work vans for a routine oil change and tire rotation, and it turned into a very costly mistake. After the service, one of their mechanics failed to properly tighten the oil filter. As a result, the oil drained out while the vehicle was in use, and the engine ultimately seized. When we brought this to their attention, the manager and company refused to take any responsibility. We were left covering the cost of two flatbed tows and a full engine replacement—expenses that could have been completely avoided with basic care and attention during the service. To make matters worse, they didn’t even refund the original oil change and tire rotation. Extremely disappointing experience. Based on how this was handled, we cannot recommend this business.

A total crook. Sold my parents four "brand new tires" -- and then a few months later my parents got a flat. When they took it into another service station they discovered that one of the "brand new" tires was actually used and already had a patch on it. Really disappointing as my father always thought the owner Jimmy was friendly. You can't trust anyone anymore!

Great service by Enrique and Diego. I highly recommend them if you need any mechanical service.

Extremely happy with the service I received from both Diego and Enrique. Took my Sable in for a pretty big labor intensive job and they handled it professionally and surprisingly quick. I picked the car up in 4 days and Diego went over all the particulars with me, showed me the old parts that were removed, handed me the keys and I was on my way! The car drives amazing. Literally night and day difference from when I left it with him. Both Diego and Enrique, to me, were honest, fair, and sincere. Very hard to find decent shops anymore but this is certainly one of them.

Thank you so much Jimmy, good to see you after all these years. Don't retired any time soon man. We need you out here. You are the absolute best at Wheel Alignments. These so called auto tech "young bucks" out here don't know how do a wheel alignment properly at all. "If you want your steering wheel dead centered while driving down a straight road. This is the guy to go to." -David
